Creating a user

Functionality
The following presentations will show you some of the functionality


GeoCLASS is accessed over the internet using your web browser. It requires a user with a valid license. Contact info@unigeo.no for information on aquiring a license.

Start GeoCLASS or click the slow connection?
Press the Start GeoCLASS button to launch the optimal version of GeoCLASS. It has the required fonts embedded, hence you only need to install the Flash Player and not the fonts (see Installation below).
If you access GeoCLASS on a regular basis through a slower connection, then you might consider installing the fonts and using the GeoCLASS (slow connection) link below the start button. The contrast of the text is not as good in this version and due to issues with the Flash Player, scalar variables are formated in bold instead of italic.

Installation
Install the following software to use GeoCLASS. This will typically require a user with administrator priveleges.
- Flash Player by Adobe.
- Fonts by UniGEO (only required for the slow connection version).
For optimal performance, it is recommended that popups are allowed for www.unigeo.no and that your browser is kept updated.
Take the GeoCLASS Requirement Test to see if your computer is ready to run GeoCLASS.

Operating system: Windows XP.
